Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to one and all!
The new year is only days away. Have you thought about what you would like for this new year to be like? The new year gives us a fresh start. We have license to dream, to plan. We can put the woes and disappointments of last year behind us and decide what would want and what would be good for us.
This is not about New Year’s resolutions. It’s more about taking inventory of where you are and where you would like to be. What does your Holy Father have to say about His plans for your year? Jeremiah 29: 11 reads, “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
So, you need a plan for your good. Yahweh’s plan is for you to fare well this year, to have a future and to have hope. That sounds pretty good to me. Are you on board?
